Ryan Duell Adventures in LabVIEW and more

I am an engineer. I spend most of day as a consultant for SajWorks. There I’ve had the opportunity to develop apps for both iOS and Android devices for several companies in the agriculture industry.

Though most of my time these days is spent on mobile, my background is in test, measurement, and industrial automation. Previously, I worked as a system integrator for a firm that specialized in hardware-in-the-loop test, and before that I was the district sales manager for National Instruments in Boston, Massachusetts. As I’m sure you can imagine, for this type of work LabVIEW is my weapon of choice. In fact, I’m a Certified LabVIEW Architect.

Outside of work I enjoy reading (mostly history and philosophy), running, photography, and tabletop games.

This site has become fairly stagnant. I hope to do a complete overhaul sometime this year with a slightly less self-indulgent purpose. We’ll see. It’s difficult to resist the normal tropes of a personal website.
